Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Manchester, operating in a hybrid model. You will design, develop and maintain critical infrastructure, delivering robust software solutions that meet complex challenges.

You will lead and collaborate with backend and frontend teams, utilizing Java Spring Boot and Python, and modern JS frameworks while upholding high standards and agile practices. You must currently hold the highest level of UK Government clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Engineer across backend and frontend stacks.
• Proven ability to contribute to Agile delivery and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on development and code review of the code base.
• Design software features to realise the product road map and explain design choices.
• Break down large work into well-defined tasks in an Agile manner.
• Support setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
• Demonstrate development work to internal and external customers.
