Job summary

Generative Group in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take complex problems from conception through delivery. You will work closely with users to design robust mobile-centric solutions that convert voice notes, photos and videos into structured reports, and determine how data moves to AI models.

The role requires expertise in software engineering, mobile apps, and AI-enabled workflows, with on-site work five days a week in London.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ software engineering experience and a strong computer science foundation.

What the job entails

As Senior Software Engineer, you will take complex product and technical problems from conception through to delivery. You will work closely with users to understand their needs, identify what matters most, design and build robust solutions, and assess their impact.

You will develop systems that turn voice notes, photographs and videos into completed reports, and shape how context is stored, retrieved and supplied to AI models. You will also help evolve the workflow builder into more adaptive software and design the architecture that enables unstructured data to move reliably through the product.

The role will involve contributing to decisions about AI integration, offline and online functionality, and how to keep the user experience simple as the product becomes more capable. You will be expected to exercise sound technical judgement and take ownership of shipping user-centred solutions. The role is based on-site in London five days a week.

• Base salary of £120,000–£150,000, plus significant equity.
