Job summary

Fanatics Markets is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy scalable features across our full-stack web applications and backend services. You will work with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Go, while supporting AI-assisted development and ensuring high reliability in a fast-moving startup environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product, design, and platform/infra teams, plus ownership of experimentation and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience building highly scalable, production systems.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Next.js and state management patterns.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript or a backend language and data modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing strategies, and safe deployment practices for web apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable frontend and backend features in a full-stack setup.
• Contribute to the technical evolution of the Markets platform with product and design collaboration.
• Implement end-to-end features from development to monitoring and iteration based on metrics.
• Operate experimentation capabilities (feature flags, A/B tests) safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with platform/infra teams; participate in code reviews and raise quality standards.
