The Growth SEO team focuses on enhancing Kraken’s online presence by developing high-performing, SEO-optimized web experiences to drive user engagement and acquisition. We optimize Kraken’s “logged out” web experience, ensuring effective communication of our platform’s value through search discovery and direct engagement.

We collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to build scalable, impactful web applications that maximize visibility and conversion. We refine our architecture and implement strategic updates to create seamless, SEO-friendly experiences that attract and guide users toward deeper engagement. Using data-driven experimentation, technical innovation, and best SEO practices, we keep our web presence a strong driver of growth.

The opportunity

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications with a focus on marketing and SEO
• Collaborate with Marketing, Content, and Design teams to integrate marketing strategies and SEO best practices into our web platforms
• Implement and optimize advanced SEO techniques and web analytics to improve online visibility and user interaction
• Contribute to the architecture and design of our web applications, ensuring scalability and performance
• Address and resolve technical SEO issues to facilitate effective indexing and ranking
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies in web development and SEO
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests and documentation
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to uphold high standards

Skills You Should HODL

• 5+ years of experience in software development, especially web applications
• Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency with React
• Experience with SEO best practices and web analytics tools
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development tools
• Strong UI/UX principles knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
• High ownership and accountability
• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to haves

• Experience with headless CMS
• Experience with full-stack Next.js, including SSR architectures
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency industry and blockchain technology
