Job Description:

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 115,000 base + additional package DOE

Location: Offices based in Central London - Flexible hybrid working

A rapidly growing global industry leader, known for its innovative solutions and disruptive approach, is seeking a strong engineer from a JVM background. With substantial success in Europe & Oceania, they are expanding into the EMEA region, aiming to revolutionise the data sector further.

Requirements:

1. Extensive experience with JVM languages (preferably Java)
2. Deep understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and the ability to leverage them effectively in building scalable solutions
3. Proficiency with Kafka
4. Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment
5. Strong understanding of microservices architecture

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and other JVM languages
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement scalable, cloud-native applications on AWS
3. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices
