Job summary

Kraken powers some of the most innovative global developments in energy. Kraken Utilities is building a platform to serve 100 million customer accounts by 2027, with a focus on AI-driven analytics, CIS, billing, and smart grid capabilities.

You will architect and develop new platform components, handle complex domain modelling, and deliver robust, scalable services that support millions of readings and payments across water, broadband, and energy markets.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and Django in building web services.
• Strong domain modelling and lifecycle design experience.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and asynchronous processing.

Responsibilities

• Architect & develop Kraken Utilities platform components.
• Scale engineering, problem solving, and customer-first culture within the team.
• Work on complex lifecycle journeys and payment flows for millions of readings.
