Job summary

Leonardo is recruiting for a Principal Engineer in Edinburgh to join our defence and aerospace teams. The role sits within a grade-based salary framework with a broad band, and the published range reflects the approved grade band.

You will work on cutting-edge national defence systems, collaborating with a large team of engineers. You will contribute to software architecture, design, and testing while delivering features in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an agile software development lifecycle.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong programming skills in C++ or similar language.
• Experience with Git or equivalent source control.
• Ability to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve software issues with a debugger.

Responsibilities
