London based, global trading and investment firm/fintech are now on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineer to join and lead one of its growing technology teams. Our client seeks a senior profile to influence high-class technology trading teams, providing market-leading exposure from both engineering and business perspectives. Engineering teams are empowered to be a major part of investment strategies, using technology to shape future trading. Engineers are regarded as crucial as those at the forefront of trade execution.

This position is full stack with a bias towards back-end development. Your role will be to manage and develop the global platform and applications. There are many greenfield elements, offering the opportunity to lead a small, globally dispersed team.

• Full stack engineering experience, with strong back-end and front-end skills
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java
• Trading or front-office trading exposure
• Experience with high-speed data, similar to Market Data technology
