Job Description:

Hays Software Engineering is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Cyber Cloud Deployment experience to join an internationally renowned Investment Management firm managing over 5 trillion AUM.

Responsibilities include:

1. Enhance cybersecurity services by strengthening cloud-based security across all layers, including databases and CDNs.
2. Implement secure authentication methods such as multifactor authentication (MFA) and Passkeys.
3. Integrate identity providers like Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity.
4. Develop solutions for account protection to detect and prevent unauthorized access.
5. Optimize cloud infrastructure for efficiency and resilience.
6. Improve standards, tools, and processes continuously.
7. Collaborate with the Product Owner to align technical solutions with business needs.
8. Manage deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments.

Qualifications:

1. Cloud expertise, particularly with AWS, CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.
2. Proficiency in web service development using TypeScript and JavaScript, with experience in NestJS and microservices being advantageous.
3. Strong knowledge of REST APIs, cloud security principles including IAM, networking, and encryption.
4. Effective communication skills to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
5. Experience with agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
