Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. You’ll help build and maintain the foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms, shaping APIs and systems that are reliable and scalable.

You’ll collaborate with product teams, optimize performance, and ship cloud functions and backend jobs using Kotlin. If you enjoy end-to-end design, fast feedback, and working with a remote, fast-growing team, this is your role.

Qualifications

• End-to-end design mindset with emphasis on simple, reliable APIs.
• Ability to ship ideas quickly and decide what can ship now.
• Strong collaboration with designers, marketers, and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and deliver SDK solutions across platforms.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and smarter parsing through better abstractions.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and Kotlin-based jobs.
