Senior Software Engineer - Client Identity

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a newly formed cybersecurity team based in Europe. This role is pivotal in shaping secure and seamless digital experiences for clients across the UK and Europe. As part of the Enterprise Security & Fraud (ES&F) organization, you will be at the forefront of protecting clients from cyber threats while building and evolving identity and access management services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance cloud-native cybersecurity services, including database and CDNs.
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms such as MFA and Passkeys.
• Integrate with identity providers like Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity.
• Build solutions to detect and mitigate account takeover attempts.
• Improve resilience, scalability, and efficiency of identity services.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Oversee deployment and operations across environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript; experience with Node.js, NestJS, and microservices is a plus.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, IAM, encryption, and network security principles.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with agile methodologies; Scrum familiarity is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for learning, innovation, and growth.
