Senior Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net) *Newcastle onsite* to £130k+

Are you a Senior Software Engineer looking to escape the hustle and bustle of London and relocate to somewhere with stunning scenery and a better quality of life? This role offers great restaurants and bars!

You will join a rapidly scaling FinTech start-up based in Newcastle, working on complex systems in an impactful role. The company has secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client, creating a finance technology hub with talented professionals.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a small, talented team to develop the core trading platform within a Microsoft environment using the latest C# .Net versions to produce high-quality code. This is a ground-up opportunity aligned with the company's ambitious growth plans.

Location:

Work onsite in the brand new Central Newcastle offices, Monday to Friday, 0900-1800 with some flexibility. Offices offer fantastic views, and facilities like onsite showers are available.

About you:

• Minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or similar from a top-tier university, with A's at A-level
• Enjoys collaborating and solving problems, working on complex, distributed systems
• Expertise in modern C# .Net Core; Python skills are a plus
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices and experience across the SDLC
• Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
• Eager to join a start-up where you can shape and influence your role
• Must be a UK citizen or have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
