Client Server Limited is looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net) in Newcastle. You will design and develop backend services for fintech platforms, focusing on distributed systems with high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or similar technical discipline from a top tier/Russell Group university
• Expertise with modern C# and .Net development
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems and engineering best practices
• Deep understanding of CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OO design and system design
• Collaborative approach with a genuine enthusiasm for solving difficult technical problems
• Ability to take ownership of significant technical initiatives and influence engineering direction
• Experience with Python, data-intensive systems, or fintech environments is advantageous but not essential

Senior Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net) Newcastle to £120k

This is an opportunity for an intellectually curious C# Software Engineer to join a high-calibre team where technical excellence is valued and engineers are trusted to influence architecture, design and product direction.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will design and develop business-critical backend services using modern C# and .Net, working on distributed systems that process large volumes of data with demanding performance and reliability requirements. You'll be involved throughout the software lifecycle, from technical design and architecture through to implementation, optimisation and production delivery, collaborating closely with colleagues who share a passion for building elegant, robust software.

The environment is particularly well suited to engineers with strong computer science foundations who enjoy tackling challenging problems, debating technical approaches and continuously improving both systems and engineering practices.

About you:
