Job Description:

Hawksworth UK is seeking talented & experienced Software Engineers to join a global software company in Belfast (city center location).

• Base salary up to £75,000 per year.
• Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the office (including Wednesdays).
• Strong skills in Python, Go, Java.

Role responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement software solutions; work with cross-functional teams; ensure high-quality product delivery; develop distributed systems with fault tolerance, scalability, and performance; conduct code reviews; troubleshoot software defects; mentor engineers; ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant field (Math, Engineering, Computer Science).
• Programming skills in Python, Go, Java, and/or Ruby.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Understanding of cloud concepts like fault tolerance, scalability, and consistency.
• Experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Must be able to commute to Belfast.
