Senior Backend Software Engineer - Warminster, Hybrid - Security Cleared - £90,000

We're looking for an experienced engineer to join a collaborative technology team delivering mission-critical software used within a large-scale UK defence programme. This is an opportunity to take ownership of major backend initiatives, influence technical direction, and work on systems where performance, reliability and security genuinely matter.

The Opportunity

You’ll be helping to shape architecture, solve integration challenges and design scalable backend solutions that connect multiple enterprise platforms.

Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you’ll play a key role in evolving a modern software platform, integrating with data platforms, ERP systems and partner technologies while helping establish engineering best practices across the wider team.

You’ll have the autonomy to make technical decisions, mentor fellow engineers and contribute to the long-term direction of both the product and engineering function.

What You’ll Be Doing

Security Requirements
