Job summary

Accertify is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance scalable software for server-side and Android platforms. You will work with Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SQL, Linux, Git, and Gradle, collaborating with stakeholders and leadership through the full software lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong Java expertise, Android app experience, and a passion for delivering maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years in professional software development, with strong Java focus in an enterprise setting.
• 2+ years Android development experience, building and deploying apps.
• Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in high-volume, transaction-intensive environments for performance and reliability.
• Proficient in Java, OOP, multithreading, and enterprise app development.
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), and front-end web interfaces.
• Experience with Android development tools: Android Studio, SDK, Gradle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy server-side and Android apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to define requirements and deliver features.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SQL, Linux, Git, Gradle.
• Build and support Android applications using modern frameworks.
