Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join AMDP in a fast-paced, agile team. You will define, design, build, and maintain secure, scalable software with a strong emphasis on full stack development and cloud infrastructure.

You will mentor junior engineers, improve CI/CD pipelines, and apply IaC with Terraform to ensure security and resiliency across services while delivering enterprise-grade technology products.

Qualifications

• Proven, production-oriented software engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Strong Full Stack background (front-end and back-end) and system design.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS and infrastructure automation using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, build, and maintain robust software solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and operational stability across multiple systems and applications.
• Develop high-quality, secure production code and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, considering upstream and downstream system impacts, and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop, review, and debug code across the stack (front-end, back-end, and cloud).
• Champion agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security throughout the development process.
