Senior Software Engineer - AI Enablement - Manchester

One of my clients is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team that's reimagining how software is built by integrating cutting-edge AI tools directly into the engineering life cycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Design intelligent multi-agent systems tailored for software development
2. Develop prompt structures, logic flows, and tool integrations that guide agent behaviour
3. Enable agent access to development infrastructure, including file systems, test suites, version control, and APIs
4. Evaluate AI performance and continuously refine workflows
5. Orchestrate systems of AI agents to elevate how teams write and deliver software at scale

Key Skills:

1. 5+ years of software engineering experience
2. Proficiency with modern Back End and Front End technologies such as Java, TypeScript, React, and MySQL
3. Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and platforms (LLM APIs, agentic frameworks, codegen systems, vector databases)
4. Driving innovation as a core principle
5. Experience in greenfield projects

This is a mostly remote role, with occasional team meetings for collaboration.

Must hold British Citizenship, European Citizenship, or ILR only; unable to accept other visas.
