Job summary

The Flex, based in Brighton, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build Base360.ai, the AI operating system for short-term rental operators. You will design scalable backend services, APIs, and automation workflows that power reservations, pricing, guest communications, and reporting.

You will own delivery end-to-end, collaborate with product and platform teams, and apply modern cloud architecture and AI-driven features to improve efficiency for property managers and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience building and owning production-grade software systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
• Ability to design scalable backend systems and reliable data models.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications, services, and APIs that power reservations, availability, pricing, payments, guest experiences, and property operations.
• Build event-driven workflows that automate repetitive tasks across the platform.
• Develop AI-powered systems and workflows to enhance guest communication and pricing decisions.
