Job summary

Wise, a global technology company, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Account Integrity team. This high-impact role focuses on solving real-world adversarial problems to protect our international customer base and ensure secure money movement.

You will own end-to-end initiatives, build and refine controls to prevent account takeovers, and drive backend and frontend work (roughly 80% backend, 20% frontend) to strengthen fraud prevention and automate security at scale.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with Java or JVM-based languages and Spring.
• Experience designing scalable web applications handling high traffic.
• Frontend experience with React-based apps, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end projects focused on fraud prevention and account integrity.
• Build and refine critical controls to protect Wise customers from account theft.
• Drive backend and frontend work (approximately 80% backend, 20% frontend).
