What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer, your work will contribute to multiple teams. You will lead projects, collaborate across teams, and report to managers and group leads to deliver results.

Technical Execution

• Improve code structure, architecture, and review code within your team.
• Lead project planning, foresee dependencies and risks, and collaborate with disciplines like PM and Experience teams.
• Simplify maintenance and operation of production systems, ensuring visibility, operational readiness, and health.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Lead technical execution and build relationships with other engineering teams.
• Break down large tasks, guide design and implementation, and influence the team roadmap.
• Participate in hiring, conduct interviews, and support colleagues' growth.

Desired Experience

While not all are required, experience in some areas is valued:

• Writing readable, well-designed, tested software
• Web application development in languages like Go, Ruby, Python, Scala, or Rust
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Web architecture at scale (20k rpm and above)
• NoSQL data backends like Redis, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, or Memcache
