Our Linux Engineering team provides Linux kernel and operating system innovations for the Akamai global distributed network, which includes over 300,000 servers deployed across 1000+ networks in more than 100 countries.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Analyzing system performance, identifying issues, and designing, developing, and implementing solutions.
2. Enhancing metrics collection, creating visualizations, and conducting statistical data analysis to better understand system performance.
3. Developing tools to facilitate faster identification of performance problems.
4. Training other engineers at Akamai to recognize performance issues.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement your solutions.

1. Have advanced programming experience in C.
