A leading UK-based tech company is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help shape and deliver secure, high-assurance systems used in critical national infrastructure and defence environments.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role with scope to lead from the front - owning technical solutions, mentoring team members, and influencing architecture and tooling decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior Software Engineer:
- Designing, developing and delivering secure software solutions
- Driving cloud-native and microservice architectures
- Contributing to infrastructure automation and CI/CD improvements
- Leading technical investigations and customer-focused issue resolution
- Collaborating with engineering leads and stakeholders across the business
Tech You’ll Work With:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IAC and secure delivery practices is a big plus
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in software engineering (7+ desirable)
- Strong communicator with mentoring or coaching experience
- Confident in owning delivery and contributing to product direction
- Right to work in the UK and SC clearance eligibility
- Pragmatic, collaborative and detail-aware
