Senior Software Engineer

Norwich (Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days from home)

*£50,000 - £60,000 per annum dependent on experience

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Tiger Eye, you will be at the forefront of software development, tackling complex challenges, contributing to innovative solutions, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions aligned with business needs.
2. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following industry best practices.
3. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise work and address challenges.
5. Lead and resolve complex technical problems, optimising software performance and scalability.
6. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
7. Contribute to system and architectural design, ensuring reliability and performance.
8. Collaborate with clients and project managers to deliver successful software projects.
9. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a passion for innovation and a strong commitment to excellence. About you:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of software development experience.
3. Proficiency in C# and knowledge of best software development practices.
4. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Experience providing technical leadership and managing client projects.
7. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
