Senior Software Developer - .NET - 4 Day Week - Belfast or Newry

Search 5.0 is proud to be partnered with a Northern Irish success story that's growing their technology team and want to connect with Senior Software Engineers that have a proficiency in .NET development.

You will be involved in greenfield projects including the re-development of a customer mobile app, AI related projects for internal reporting and metrics and integration work for external software being brought in house.

The Role

• Software Maintenance & Development: Maintain and enhance in-house admin systems, business portals, and websites; oversee software modifications and manage change requests.
• Project & Task Management: Follow structured workflows via the Project Management System, participate in project planning, and review departmental roadmaps to support future IT and business needs.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Adhere to quality standards, conduct issue investigations, record non-conformances, and complete QWC (Quality Work Checks) as required.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Training: Provide programming services to stakeholders, liaise effectively with internal/external parties, train users on software applications, and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

Skills Profile

• .NET Development Expertise: Proficient in C#/VB.NET with experience in ASP.NET, Razor, Blazor, Xamarin Forms, .NET MAUI, and modern .NET technologies.
• Database & Backend Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SQL programming, schema design, report/query development, and working with XML and JSON data formats.
• Agile & DevOps Practices: Experienced in Agile development methodologies, continuous integration/delivery, and principles of build and release management.
