Job summary

Maxwell Bond is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Senior Software Engineer for a high-impact lending platform. You will work across existing systems and greenfield capabilities, delivering scalable software with the wider tech team.

The role requires strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript and .NET, plus API and cloud know-how (AWS or Azure). You will operate remotely across the UK with one in-office day per month.

Are you a Senior Software Engineer looking for the opportunity to join a growing internal technology team and work on a high-impact lending platform? Maxwell Bond are partnered with a leading organisation that are building out their technology function and looking for Senior Software Engineers to join the team.

This is a hands-on development role where you'll work across both existing platforms and new capabilities, with the opportunity to contribute to greenfield development. You'll work closely with the wider technology team to design, build and deliver scalable software solutions.

What you'll do as a Senior Software Engineer:

• Develop and enhance a high-impact lending platform, working across new features and capabilities.
• Contribute to greenfield development, APIs and cloud-based solutions.
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with technical and wider business stakeholders.
• Help shape technical solutions and contribute to best practices across the new technology team.

What we're looking for:

• Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer, with significant commercial development experience.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript and .NET.
• Experience working with APIs and cloud environments, ideally AWS or Azure.
• Someone comfortable working independently, taking ownership and contributing to a growing technology function.
