Senior Software Engineer – join an exciting Tech driven business
Up to £75,000
Hybrid working – 1-2 days a week onsite

We’re currently partnered with an exciting Tech business in Manchester who are growing and are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join them on their next growth journey.
As a leading Marketplace, the business has seen an increase in demand and is looking to build new products to support their growth. To achieve this, they are looking for a Senior Engineer who wants to remain hands-on and play a vital role in mentoring and coaching their engineering team.
You’ll be joining a team that specializes in React.js, Node.js & TypeScript. You’ll work closely with the Head of Engineering to bring in new ideas, work on exciting new products, and ensure projects are delivered.
What will you be doing:
- Taking the lead on the design, architecture, and development of applications
- Leading technical decision-making to ensure alignment with business goals
- Collaborating with the wider team to define technical requirements and develop new solutions
- Being responsible for architecting and implementing RESTful APIs
- Developing interactive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using React.js
- Mentoring and coaching team members through code reviews
- Ensuring TDD practices are being followed and implementing unit tests

Hybrid working – office based in Manchester CC, with the team currently onsite 1-2 days per week
