Senior Software Engineer
Up to £65, | Manchester City Centre | Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)

We’re working with a private equity-backed tech business in Manchester that's quietly disrupting a high-value consumer space. With over employees and an in-house engineering team building an end-to-end digital journey, they're scaling up to tackle industry-wide pain points with cloud-native solutions and a data-led approach.

This is an opportunity to work on a modern platform combining real-time decisioning, third-party integrations, and automation — all aimed at simplifying a process that traditionally takes days, into minutes. The engineering culture encourages autonomy, experimentation, and continuous deployment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining .NET microservices and APIs
• Building scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS and Infrastructure as Code
• Championing best practices, clean code, and SOLID principles
• Collaborating with frontend developers (React), DevOps, and product teams
• Helping shape the technical direction and mentoring others

What we’re looking for:

• 5 years experience with C#/.NET
• Solid understanding of AWS (or similar cloud platform) and DevOps principles
• Strong grasp of CI/CD, containerisation, and IaC (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
