Job summary

Corecom Consulting in Leeds is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a fast-growing SaaS product scale-up. You will provide technical leadership, mentor colleagues and contribute hands-on across a broad stack.

You will guide architecture decisions, own key deliverables, and collaborate with product managers to shape technical solutions. Strong Angular, C#, .NET Core, EF and SQL are essential, with excellent communication and mentoring skills valued.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Angular including components, services, directives, pipes and modules.
• Proficient in SCSS with responsive layouts and modern styling techniques.
• Experience building web APIs with C# and .NET Core and using EF for data access.
• Solid SQL skills including stored procedures, functions and query optimisation.
• Familiar with Git workflows and dependency management via NPM/NuGet.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities; readiness to lead code reviews.

What you'll be doing

• Guiding and mentoring the development team on best practices, coding standards and architectural decisions
• Overseeing the development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives
• Working with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and shape technical solutions
• Contributing to Sprint planning, story pointing and task allocation
• Supporting technical input into proposals and scoping where required
• Conducting regular technical one‑to‑ones, coaching on coding techniques and problem‑solving
• Taking ownership of project deliverables, ensuring high‑quality, scalable software
• Providing technical leadership through code reviews and hands‑on development

What we're looking for

• Strong experience with Angular, including components, services, directives, pipes and modules
• Confident with SCSS, including nesting, inheritance and responsive layouts
• Experience with C# and .NET Core for building web APIs and services
• Proficiency with Entity Framework, including models, queries and migrations
• Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions and query optimisation
• Confident with Git workflows and dependency management via NPM/NuGet

This is a mid-senior role. We're open to a strong mid-level developer looking to step up into a senior remit, or a mid-level developer seeking a mid-level position at a lower salary banding.
