The Company:

My client is highly regarded as one of the top 5 high-frequency trading firms globally, who are now looking to build out their presence in London.

They openly take pride that the existing technology infrastructure is the reason for being one of the leaders across the industry, as they build innovative, nimble, and scalable systems across their entire front office trading remit covering the FX, Metals, Cryptocurrency, and Options markets.

The Role:

Working alongside some of the sharpest engineers, technologists, traders, and, professionals in the world, you will come in at a crucial point of growth, building out a brand-new, Python-based proprietary trading platform the Options market, whilst designing a suite of custom trading desk tools based on real-time requests from the traders, portfolio managers, and cross-functional front office users.

We are currently looking for like-minded, dedicated, and motivated individuals who have experience working within a buy-side and fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

• Must have 3 years+ experience with object-orientated Python.
• Proven track record working within the financial domain (hedge-fund experience is desirable).
• Experience with network or concurrent programming (ideally low latency or distributed environments)
• Strong communication skills to liaise with other front office users (traders, quants, and machine learning specialists).
