Job summary

Copello Global is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Global Centre of Excellence for Mobile Applications. You will work on complex full-stack solutions, focusing on scalability and performance, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role is largely home-based with occasional travel to Glasgow for meetings and team days. A strong academic background in Software Engineering or Computer Science and commercial experience are required, with knowledge of Java, Kotlin, React, C#,

Qualifications

• Commercial full stack experience is required.
• Excellent programmer with good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in an Agile environment would be highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, React, C#, HTML or CSS is desirable.

Job description

A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Engineer to join a talented Software Team which forms a key part of a Global Centre of Excellence for Mobile Applications.

Domestically and internationally, this team develops applications that are deployed across a range of devices and are designed to enhance public safety.

The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with the wider team on complex full stack software solutions ensuring scalability and performance.

Home Working

This role is largely home based but some travel to Glasgow for meetings & team days would be expected.

Skills

This role requires an excellent programmer, someone with an academic background in Software Engineering / Computer Science and commercial full stack experience with good communication and collaboration skills.

Previous experience working in an Agile environment would be highly beneficial alongside technical experience with iOS and Android. Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, React, C#, HTML or CSS would also be sought.
