Collaborating closely with your direct team members along with other stakeholders across the company, you’ll be enacting real and meaningful change to students and graduates in the UK and beyond!

Key projects include:

  • New AI-Driven Project: A greenfield initiative leveraging Vercel AI SDK, TanStack Start, Redis, and more

Our services are deployed on AWS and managed with Terraform. Our architecture evolves as our needs grow, so you'll also have the opportunity to directly influence the direction of our technological choices as we move forward.

What you can expect to work on in your first six months:

  • Collaborate closely with our Tech & Product team to rapidly bring innovative product ideas to life.
  • Lead impactful design reviews for cutting-edge systems, championing best-in-class solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Continuously expand your expertise by mastering the latest technologies and driving innovation within our engineering team.

Does this sound like you?

  • You're a Senior Software Engineer with a solid understanding of building production-quality web applications in TypeScript.
  • You’re comfortable working across the backend and frontend.
  • You have experience leading on the planning, development, and deployment of large parts of a Node.js-based system, whilst working closely with and/or mentoring junior team members.

What makes our team & culture great?

We’ve worked really hard to build the engineering team and culture that we want to work in, and we all believe we’ve built something special. We are focused on world-class engineering to build high-quality, scalable and user-centred products and platforms.

We work hard to balance our ambitious objectives with our own personal development each sprint. We operate on a “no egos” basis and push for a high-performing team with psychological safety. You’ll have a lot of autonomy and influence on our technology and processes, and will find very little red tape or unnecessary constraints here. Our drive for evidence and data-driven decisions has helped us in creating multiple products that we take a lot of pride in!

What's in it for you, as our future Senior Software Engineer?

  • We have recently been awarded the Great Place To Work certification, reflecting our commitment to a positive and supportive workplace culture and recognising our focus on employee satisfaction, inclusivity & work-life balance.
  • Join a high-growth and rapidly scaling business – we launched internationally into the German market in 2022 and have further growth planned this year.
  • Incredible progression & development opportunities – year on year approx. 20% of our team receive promotions.

  • You’ll be driving forward our mission - upskilling the next generation of future talent and connecting members with opportunities they otherwise simply wouldn’t have access to!
