About Us:

We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems for our customers. As our business grows, we seek an experienced Software Engineer to join one of our live projects within the Central Government team.

Work Environment:

Our hybrid working model allows flexibility, with options to work from our offices in Bristol, Cheltenham, or Manchester. Regular visits to customer sites will be required.

The Opportunity:

Join diverse teams working on complex projects, developing bespoke software solutions, and enhancing capabilities to meet client needs. As a Senior Software Engineer in an Agile team, you will:

1. Design, develop, and test software solutions.
2. Utilize a range of technologies, focusing on open-source libraries and components.
3. Use tools like GitLab to build CI pipelines ensuring quality and security.
4. Deploy software to various environments, including AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
5. Be involved throughout the software lifecycle, from conception to maintenance.
6. Lead teams and manage client engagement, depending on experience.

The Fit:

We are looking for Senior Engineers with hands-on Full Stack experience, proficient in Java, AWS, Azure, JavaScript, or React. Previous consultancy experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Security Clearance:

All team members must obtain security clearance, requiring UK passport holders who have lived in the UK for the past 5 years.
