Overview

Senior Software Engineer – Cambridge – twice a week in the office. Salary £70,000–£90,000.

We are a well-established Communications Tech business based in Cambridge, expanding their development team. The company builds and distributes telecoms products and equipment across many global sectors and supports some of the largest businesses across the UK and Europe. You will work in a medium-sized team that has recently expanded due to onboarding many new clients this year and primarily work in a Full Stack environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medium-sized team that has recently expanded due to onboarding many new clients this year.
• Contribute to a Full Stack environment, specialising in PHP on the backend and JavaScript on the frontend, with experience in C++ as a prior skill.
• Build software that links to many of the company’s products.

Technical Requirements

• Backend: C++, PHP, Laravel
• Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Apache
• Bonus Skills: Linux, MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Confident working in an Agile environment
• Good collaboration skills and ability to communicate among different teams
