Position : Senior Software Engineer

Location : Cambridge, United Kingdom – Hybrid (3 days at the office)

The Job

As part of the E3D development group, you’llbe responsible formaintaining and enhancing applications that support both desktop and cloud solutions. You will work in scrum teams aligned to our customers’ engineering disciplines, contributing to consistent deliveryand modernisation of our product’s extensive feature set.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement functional featuresas per Product Ownerrequests.
• Analyse, investigate and debug issues found both internally (by the team) and externally (by customers).
• Drive quality throughout our product by taking the initiative onautomated testing, architectural refactoring, andcommunal best practices.
• Demonstrate sound decision making on individual and team workloads to ensure it is delivered in a timely manner.

Ideal experience

From most to least important:

• Confidence in one (or more) of the following languages:Fortran, C#, C++, PML.
• Awareness of industrial engineering and/or factory plant design.
• Comfortable with source control systems (GIT) andautomated build pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Practices Agile and Scrum methodologies
