Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and optimisation of React applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and UI/UX teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Design and implement clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong emphasis on security and compliance for highly regulated environments.
• Work alongside UI/UX designers to translate designs into high-quality, responsive user interfaces using Figma or Storybook.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration with APIs and microservices.
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable and reliable front-end systems.
• Lead by example, mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, React best practices, and trends in regulated industries.

What You Bring to the Role:

• Strong expertise in React with a proven track record of building high-quality, secure, and scalable front-end applications.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (Finance, Defence, etc.), with a deep understanding of the compliance, security, and performance challenges these industries face.
• Experience collaborating with product owners and working alongside UI/UX teams to translate product requirements into polished user interfaces.
• Familiarity with tools like Figma or Storybook for design collaboration and component libraries.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating with backend services.
• Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and CI/CD pipelines.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to create solutions that meet both user needs and industry requirements.
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• Experience with TypeScript and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
• Previous experience building applications with a focus on security and compliance.
• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation (Docker).
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
