About the startup:

This open-source businessintelligence platform was designed to empower teams to easily queryand visualize data. Positioned as an alternative to Looker, theplatform integrates with dbt (data build tool) to transform raw datainto actionable insights. Built to support both technical andnon-technical users, it enables everyone from marketing to financeteams to access insights, even without SQL knowledge.

Recently, the platform introduced an AI analyst feature thatallows users to ask natural language questions and receive tailored,department-specific insights while keeping control over sensitivedata. With over 5,000 teams using the product and a successful $11million Series A led by Accel, the team is expanding quickly to servemajor clients such as Workday, Beauty Pie, Hypebeast, and MorningBrew.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a critical role inenhancing and scaling the platform. From owning features end-to-end tocollaborating closely with the founding team and the open-sourcecommunity, you’ll influence both the product and the company’s broaderstrategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Development: Plan, develop, test, deploy,and iterate on new features from start to finish.
• Community Engagement: Actively participate in theplatform’s community on GitHub, Slack, and Twitter to respond tofeedback and help prioritize development.
• ProductOwnership: Take full responsibility for your work, contributingboth to product and strategy.
• High-PerformanceCollaboration: Work within a small, fast-paced team that valuescollaboration and constructive feedback.
• Adaptability:Thrive in a dynamic startup setting focused on innovation andongoing improvement.

Core Requirements:

• Full Stack experience with React and Postgres.
• Proven success in building and shipping SaaS products, withan emphasis on frontend, backend, and UX/UI.
• Knowledge of websecurity best practices, including cross-site scripting andauthentication.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment andinfrastructure, particularly Google Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration and aproactive mindset for challenging existing ideas.
• Interest inor experience with open-source contributions.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in open-sourcecommunities.
• Familiarity with Docker and Google CloudPlatform infrastructure.
• A passion for engaging with usersand using feedback to drive product improvements.
