LoyalBe in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver exceptional software. The role is full-stack and will involve work on our React dashboard, banking API integrations, and infrastructure-as-code.
You will be one of the early engineers, with autonomy and impact to shape the tech direction, join a passionate team, and contribute to a growing scaleup with equity and career growth opportunities.
LoyalBe is a fast-growing Card-Linked-Offer (CLO) network. We connect leading brands with millions of consumers through our network of partners, including major card networks, banks, and fintechs. We offer a smarter, more measurable growth channel by connecting global brands, banks, and consumers in a single, frictionless, pay-for-performance rewards network.
Today we work with top brands such as Just Eat, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, New Balance, Lego, adidas, Vodafone and more. We are seeking ambitious, commercially minded individuals to help us define the future of performance marketing. We are a rare breed in fintech/martech: Profitable, and reinvesting heavily in growth. We have validated the model; now we are scaling the commercial team to capture the market.
We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver exceptional software. The role is full-stack and will require flexibility and a start-up mentality (see Disclaimer below!). You might be working on a new feature for our react dashboard one day, integrating with new bank APIs the next, and writing infrastructure-as-code the following day.
You will be one of the early engineers to join us at this level, and depending on your interests, you'll contribute to various efforts from raising the bar in terms of best practices to the hiring and growth of the engineering team. You’ll join a passionate and innovative team reshaping how brands and consumers connect through payment-linked loyalty. You’ll have autonomy, impact, and the opportunity to help define the direction of a growing scaleup.
We're looking for someone who gets excited by solving new challenges and learning new things along the way. You're a self-starter and you like to be hands-on (i.e. write code) but also want to help steer the direction of the technology forward.
We need someone who works well with uncertainty, frequent changes to product specifications and who can move fast. Salary and equity are competitive and are negotiable depending on experience.
If we proceed with your application, the interview process will consist of a quick phone call, followed by a short programming challenge and 1-2 interviews. We aim to make quick decisions.
We believe that being a diverse team will make us a stronger team and we want to hire people who believe the same. Please don't filter yourself out!
We're a startup, so working with us means you can and will face different challenges than working in larger organisations. Yes, we're a small and fast-moving team which definitely has its advantages but that also means you'll have a lot of responsibility. Servers go down? It's up to us to fix it; there is no dev-ops team. At the same time, we're not Pied Piper building the decentralised web, so we don't expect you to be constantly available to resolve issues. Work/life balance is important!
