Senior Software Engineer – .NET | Financial Services

Are you a .NET expert looking to apply your skills to complex, high-impact systems? Do you thrive in high-performance engineering environments where attention to detail and clean architecture are essential?

My client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep experience in the .NET ecosystem to join a dynamic team building mission-critical software for the financial sector. You’ll be contributing to the design and development of scalable, robust applications used in real-time trading and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance applications using .NET (C#).
• Collaborate with business analysts and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Drive improvements in system architecture, performance, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices and SOLID principles.
• Take ownership of key components and contribute to the overall system design.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers as needed.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on the Microsoft .NET stack.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering production-grade applications.
• Solid understanding of multithreading, distributed systems, and REST APIs.
• Experience working in the financial services sector – capital markets, trading systems, risk platforms, or similar – is highly desirable.
• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) is a plus.
