Job summary

Royal London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design, develop, test and implement high-quality software solutions for our Digital Area. You will design digital solutions, deliver complex changes, document designs in advance and work closely with architecture and other teams to build the best possible solutions.

• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

• Ability to design, document and implement digital solutions.

About the role

• You’ll design and develop digital solutions that meet business and customer requirements.
• You’ll deliver complex changes within your technical area, including assessing impacts on existing applications.
• You’ll document and agree designs in advance, working to agreed standards and ways of working closely with architecture and other teams todesign the best solutions.
• You’ll collaborate with the wider team, contribute ideas, and review others’ work to improve overall quality.
