We seek an experienced Software Development Engineer to design and implement control strategies and software for diverse engineering projects, collaborating with analysis, systems, V&V, electrical/electronic, and vehicle systems engineers.
- End-to-end software development activities
- Facilitating project delivery through innovative software solutions
- Defining, developing, and tracing test cases to requirements
- Designing, developing, testing, and calibrating software
- Supporting mechanical, electrical, and electronic design with systems and software engineering
- Executing and developing test activities, including setup, testing, and reporting
- Technical liaison with clients, suppliers, manufacturing, and stakeholders
- Strong communication of technical concepts
- Knowledge of automotive/aerospace/defence software engineering practices
- Understanding of control theory and strategy design
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, and simulation tools (SIL, MIL, HIL)
- Experience with data acquisition, analysis tools, requirements and test management tools, version control
- Practical problem-solving skills
- Understanding of HW/SW interactions, sensors, actuators, electrical interfacing
- Experience with control system simulation and commissioning
- Manufacturing environment and diagnostics experience
- Functional safety knowledge (ISO26262, DO178)
