Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team in Cheltenham on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-focused projects with real-world impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions using C++, Python, and Linux
• Implement containerisation with Helm and other tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable systems
• Contribute to system architecture and best practices
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development
• Ensure security and integrity of software solutions
• Test and debug code to ensure quality
• Document software designs and test coverage

Requirements

• Experience in C++, Python, and Linux development
• Proficiency with containerisation, especially Helm
• Understanding of telephony and internet protocols (desirable)

• Active or recent DV clearance
