Specialist guilds such as UX Design, Data Science, Agile Practitioners, Architecture and many more. The candidate will work on Baker Hughes software products related to the Oil & Gas domain. These products are developed on a popular and well-tested technology stack:

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing exceptional applications for our business
2. Guiding team members with their technical tasks, eliminating technical barriers
3. Writing clean, scalable code using C#/Type Script programming languages
4. Developing end-to-end applications using Angular/.net
5. Developing technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture with strong attention to detail
6. Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams to implement solutions that extend shared platforms
7. Applying software development life-cycle principles and methodologies such as Agile and Kanban, to continuously improve our code and processes
8. Improving code quality and deployment processes, enhancing CI/CD pipelines

To be successful in this role you will:

1. Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or a related Technology discipline or show equivalent, demonstrable work experience
2. Must have experience with Back-End design and development frameworks such as .net
3. Demonstrate experience with Front-End design and development frameworks such as Angular or SPA Framework (React)
4. Demonstrate experience with Relational/NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB
5. Show experience in developing Object-Oriented software following test-driven-development processes
6. Display knowledge and understanding of tooling such as Git, GitHub and GitHub Automation, and cloud services on Azure is advantageous
7. Have experience of working in an AGILE environment and knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment
8. Have proven leadership/mentoring experience, looking for that next step as a Senior Developer
9. Have excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate highly technical information in a clear and easy to understand manner
10. Be a good team player, enjoy collaborating and solving problems with others
