Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer / Engineer with expertise in C# .Net, API development, and AWS to join our team in Sunderland. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration.

In this position, you will take a leading, hands-on role within an Agile team, developing scalable and resilient game mechanics into deployable APIs. You will be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle, focusing on backend technologies such as C#, T-SQL, Redis, and AWS services.

You will also provide mentorship and technical guidance, contribute to team growth, and participate in technology and process improvements.

Location / WFH:

Hybrid work policy with 2-3 days per week in Sunderland offices, featuring facilities like free meals, gym membership, and parking.

About you:

• Strong experience in C# .Net backend development
• Leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills
• Experience developing APIs
• Good knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency with databases such as SQL, MySQL, T-SQL, Redis, Couchbase
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
