Job summary

Confirm is seeking a Senior Software Developer to drive technical excellence across our product portfolio globally. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and QA to build intuitive, reliable software using AI-enabled approaches while adhering to best practices.

You will mentor junior developers, shape feature delivery, and ensure robust design, performance and security across frontend and backend systems in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using AI across the software delivery lifecycle (requirements to maintenance) with AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor).
• Experience maintaining AI-first product features and building new ones, selecting models per use case.
• Strong frontend skills in HTML, JavaScript and CSS with a modern UI framework (React/Vue/Angular).
• Solid backend skills in Node.js/TypeScript and PHP (Laravel) with RESTful services.
• Database proficiency (MongoDB/MySQL/PostgreSQL) and indexing via migrations.
• Experience with testing and static checks (Jest, ESLint, TypeScript) and Git + CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• 5+ years in software development; third-level CS qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver features.
• Lead planning, scoping, and technical design of scalable solutions.
• Ensure software quality with robust testing and CI/CD improvements.
• Review code and uphold engineering standards across the team.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and embody company values.
