The Role

As a member of the development team, the Senior Embedded Software Engineer will provide technical leadership and engage in activities related to the design, development, testing, and documentation of the company's products and manufacturing test systems.

Responsibilities
  1. Software Design and Development: Architectural design, detailed design, algorithm development, coding, unit testing, and debugging.
  2. Support Activities: Support the Test & Acceptance team with integration, testing, test plan development, and reporting; participate in reviews of software design and code.
  3. Technical Authority: Act as a technical authority on small projects and support project coordination.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Understanding of real-time systems and performance requirements.
  • Knowledge of microcontroller architectures and device driver development.
  • Experience with hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UARTs, ADC.
  • Experience with tools like MATLAB, Simulink.
  • Knowledge of audio sampling, signal filtering (DSP or FPGA).
  • Ability to use test equipment such as audio/modulation analyzers.
  • Understanding of RF principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Security Clearance
