Oceaneering International Inc. in Aberdeen, Scotland, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive innovative software solutions for complex requirements in a cross-functional setting.
You will lead reviews, mentor junior engineers, and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability while collaborating with stakeholders to balance new development and technical debt.

The Senior Software Engineer will undertake all responsibilities of the Software Engineer role, with additional duties including:
Advanced proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role.
Strong understanding of design methodologies and principles.
Experience with Continuous Delivery and DevOps tools and practices.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead and mentor team members.
Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. Advanced certifications are desirable.
Experience:Significant experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
