NVIDIA is looking for an outstanding passionate and talented Senior SW & Cloud Architect to join our SW Architecture group. The position includes researching new technologies with a focus on architecture definition of groundbreaking technologies in different domains - networking, security, virtualization, and orchestration. You will play a vital role in cutting-edge datacenter networking and security solutions. In this role, you will define the future of cloud solution stacks, orchestration, provisioning, network programmability, and SDN. NVIDIA's Architecture group consists of world-class architects responsible for designing the next-generation architecture for our DPUs & NICs technologies. You will work with teams worldwide, including software architects, R&D, product, solution architects, and external customers. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact the future of data-center technologies.

What you will be doing:

• Lead architecture for cloud-based orchestration & provisioning solutions
• Design state-of-the-art system architecture for DPU & NIC technologies
• Provide innovative solutions for complex problems
• Write effective, clear, and reliable architecture specifications
• Evaluate new technologies, innovate, and develop POC prototypes for full product development
• Collaborate with global teams across hardware and software domains
• Engage with high-profile customers on advanced technologies

What we need to see:

• B.Sc/M.Sc/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 4+ years as Software/System Architect
• 4+ years as Software Developer
• Deep knowledge of C, Python
• Experience with Linux development, Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, Helm
• Knowledge of Kubernetes CRDs, Operators, system plugins, CNI plugin development
• Experience with provisioning systems like Maas or Ironic
• Strong design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams locally and internationally
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ways to stand out:

• Background in data center technologies, networking, and cloud
• Experience with OpenStack/OpenShift, Cloud APIs
• Experience with CNI Plugins (Calico, Flannel), DPDK, OVS, OVN
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible
