Salary:£52,600+ (Depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
Assessment and approval of software products and process compliance against agreed software development and verification plans
Undertake configuration, review and formal acceptance of supplier deliverable artefacts to support software assurance claims
Build relationships and networks across the supplier, Eurofighter Partner Company and Customer communities
Support the team to resolve supplier deviations to platform level software development standards
Conduct the review of software documentation in support of regular product iterations, releases and clearances, support customer certification activities
Attend and conduct supplier software lifecycle reviews, software audits at supplier premises. Support the resolution of software problem reports
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Previous extensive experience in a Software Engineering role
Experience working on programmes that assure software in accordance with the guidelines set out in DO-178B/C and DO-330C.
An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
The ability to communicate effectively within a team environment and ability to influence and manage stakeholders/customers
Desirable:
A HND (or equivalent) in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience with Software Engineering focus
Aerospace background is desirable

The Eurofighter Typhoon Radar Software Assurance Team:
The successful candidate will be part of a small team with responsibility for managing all software assurance activities. This exciting role requires a wide range of engineering skills, teamwork and product focus to ensure any supplier-provided software is compliant with relevant software development plans and standards.
Due to the nature of working with the Supplier and other stakeholders, the job holder will be required to travel within the UK and mainland Europe on an occasional basis.
