Arm is seeking a Software Architect to help shape software strategy across Arm IP and ecosystems from our Cambridge setting. You will drive adoption of new features, analyze Open Source software like Linux, and collaborate with OS, OEM and Silicon Partners to advance Arm’s platform.

Qualifications

• Experience with Arm-based systems and IP features.
• Experience profiling software for real-world workloads.
• Background in OS or driver development.
• Strong C/C++ development and optimization skills.
• Ability to test software rigorously and drive quality.

Responsibilities

• Understand Arm architecture and IP features, promote benefits to ecosystems, resolve adoption issues.
• Analyze software solutions deployed in products, focusing on major open-source projects such as Linux.
• Contribute improvements to open-source projects as reference for customers.
• Collaborate with Arm OS, OEM and silicon partners to drive standards for optimization and differentiation.
• Develop new software paradigms on Arm reference hardware designs.
• Profile system performance and innovate improvement strategies.
• Lead validation of functionality, security and safety.
• Collaborate with major industry names to develop, optimize and deliver software supporting Arm IP.
